the decision is always is our hand

A young boy from a small village, likes to defend and against all the thing. Whatever his parents advised to him, will never be accepted. Hmm~ there is a person called "god of leading" in the village and controlling all of the villagers.
the "god of leading" is living on the top of the village.
One day, the boy found this person, and he wants to challenge the "god of leading" by proving that the person is wrong, and then the young little boy going to climb up the to the top of village and look for the "god of leading". On the way, he just simply catch a bird and then he meet the person.
When he arrived, he takes out the little bird and says, "The bird inside my hand is alive or dead?"
the boy is just wanting to challenge and give the wrong answer to the god of leading.

now, what would the "god of leading" says ?
